Saquon’s Legendary Season
Saquon rushed for 2,005 yards. As the ninth person in history to rush over 2,000 yards, he came dangerously close to the standing record of 2,105 rushing yards set by Eric Dickerson in 1984. If Seaquan hadn’t been benched to rest up for the playoffs, Saquon would likely have broken Dickerson’s record. Eagles medical and coaching team prioritized rest this past week for Seaquan so that he would be able to be on his A-game this week.
Jalen Hurts Returns From The Bench
After two weeks on the bench, Jalen Hurts is back on the field and back in full health. The player was put on medical rest after suffering a blow to the head during the week 16 game against the Washington Commanders. During his leave, backup quarterbacks Kenny Picket and Tanner McKee took his place.
